Green Valley Glamping is a family-run glamping resort in the heart of the Savinja Valley near Celje. Located in an idyllic location along the Savinja River overlooking meadows, fields and hop plantations. Designed with the thought of a genuine, active experience of nature and a way away from the everyday hustle and bustle. Suitable for both a weekend break and for longer holidays, as there are numerous possibilities for excursions nearby.
Jump in the pool. Relax on the sunny terrace or in the shade of the mighty lime tree. Enjoy one of the many activities on the property itself or in the surrounding area.
You can find us less than 40 minutes from Ljubljana or Maribor, 3km from Žalec/Šempeter motorway exit.
There are three glamping cottages built in the style of traditional hop cottages, which once protected hop pickers from the scorching sun. The cottages were built by ourselves and are therefore unique. You will be welcomed by the smell of wood and an extra comfy double bed. We can add up one or two extra beds for the kids in each cottage. Bed linen and towels included!
Large, uniquely furnished glamping tents (25 square meters big) are set on the vast lawn. They can accommodate the largest families or groups of friends up to 6 people. You can close the day by sitting in front of a tent overlooking the sunset while dream catchers will take care of pleasant dreams. Bed linen and towels included!
For the most comfortable stay, we suggest choosing one of our new luxury tents, which can accommodate up to 5 people. They offer two bedrooms, an equipped kitchenette with a refrigerator and an electric cooker, a dining room and a large wooden terrace for relaxation. Bed linen and towels for personal hygiene included.
In Green Valley glamping we are surrounded by nature and green approach is our main guide. Glamping cottages, showers under the stars, outdoor kitchen and sun terrace we made ourselves out of local, natural materials. For the breakfast we offer a basket of local goodies, and organic products are available for personal hygiene. The principles of sustainable action are also taken into account in promoting the repeated use of towels and reducing water consumption and waste separation.
Green Valley Glamping (also known as Zupanc Plac) has been a unique sports and recreation center for parties, picnics, relaxed business lunches and team building events in the heart of the Savinja Valley since 1988, in unspoiled nature along the Savinja River.
In addition to the restaurant with sun terrace, we offer the use of 5 tennis courts, a beach volleyball court (on the latter you can organize football or handball on the sand) and endless surfaces of meadows suitable for playing football or other sports-animation games. We also provide personalized animation and decoration with our partners.
For feasting we offer a traditional barbecue menu: chicken stew or other dishes to begin with, continue with grilled mixed meat with side dishes and salads and finish with dessert. We can also take care of gourmet corners for a special experience.
In the event tent we install refrigerators with drinks and beer treatments, and by agreement we also arrange special drink corners.
There is also parking for more than 100 cars or more buses and the possibility of overnight stays for more than 50 people.
