Green Valley Glamping is a private green venue in Šešče pri Preboldu, 40 minutes from Ljubljana, which you rent exclusively for your wedding. There are no other guests on your day. The ceremony and celebration take place on the meadow under a majestic old lime tree, with the pool and sun terrace, the restaurant building and the event tent at your disposal. We agree together how much you take on yourselves: rent the venue only, or let us run the whole wedding.
The event tent is included in the rental, so nothing has to be moved or rescheduled. It holds the tables, the bar and the dance floor; in good weather the party spills out onto the meadow and under the lime tree.
The venue is secluded enough that neither volume nor hours need to be restricted. Your band or DJ can play until morning.
Most couples choose a weekend: Friday for preparations and arrivals, Saturday for the ceremony and celebration, Sunday for a late breakfast and lounging by the pool. Guests sleep on site, in 11 bell tents, 3 wooden huts and 5 safari lux tents, so nobody drives home.
We cook in our own kitchen: the base is a traditional barbecue menu, and for something special we set up gourmet corners. In the past we have worked with chefs Darko Klemen and Borut Jovan. Outside catering is possible only in exceptional cases. We place drinks fridges and beer taps in the tent; our staff can serve, or guests help themselves. Decoration and entertainment are arranged with our partners.
We host weddings of up to 500 guests. Parking takes more than 100 cars or several coaches. The Žalec/Šempeter motorway exit is three kilometres away, Ljubljana and Maribor are about 40 minutes. The season runs from May to October.
